What happens next?
Rescale is regularly audited by independent organizations to maintain its security compliance standards, which will now include its FedRAMP authorization status.
Rescale meets or exceeds many industry standards, and is audited to ensure SOC 2 Type 2 certification, which evaluates the security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of Rescale’s platform, data, policies, and procedures.

Who can use FedRAMP?
In addition to public sector Federal Agencies, higher education institutions and commercial enterprises can also rest assured that Rescale has passed a series of government-mandated standards for cloud product usage
Federal Contractors, especially DoD Contractors, may not require actual FedRAMP product, they may wantFedRAMP Equivalency, which provides the same controls and documentation as FedRAMP, that they can present as proof of compliance to their Government customers.
ITAR requires US Persons only, so not all users are implementing a FedRAMP and ITAR model.
